Is it an illegal still for making gin, hidden in the countryside?
The clue is the cherry trees in the background. Hail showers destroy cherry crops and so the orchard is defended against hail stones by this building.
The tall chimney that looks like a megaphone is a megaphone. Inside the building, butane gas is exploded, and the shock wave is propagated out of the megaphone across the orchard. The shockwave pulverises the hailstones to dust, thus protecting the cherries.

This is not a natural pond in the forest. Look closely and you will see the edges are of concrete. There are many of these ponds in the forest. Rainfall in the forests of the Vaucluse mountains in France is scarce, so water is hauled up the mountain to fill these ponds regularly otherwise the wild hogs and deer would die of thirst. Who are these good people who bring the water? Hunters of course – if the animals died, they would have nothing to shoot.

The latest Ado craze in France is to adjust the depth of plane on their phone camera, go in close on a persons eye resulting a picture like this.
They then fall on their back, wave their legs in the air, and scream with uncontrollable laughter. If your phone has two lenses try it. It is an amusing way to waste time.

This is the tomb of Rudolf Nereyev, the celebrated Russion ballet dancer. But in death he surprises and amazes as he did in life. His tomb is covered by a carpet. But look closely and you will see no fibres – the ‘carpet’ is mosiac!

This is a hunters chair, the hunter shoots the animals when they pass.
I am told it is safer for the hunter (how come, they have a guns, the animals haven’t?) and the meat of an animal that is killed by surprise is tastier and more tender than an animal that has been hunted down.
So the next time you go to a butcher, ask him for meat from an unsuspecting animal!
