Where were you when Diana died?
Where were you when Diana died?
Is a book I wrote several years ago. It started off as an exercise to try and write emotions on the page.
I realised when I had finished that all the scenes could be welded into a short book. I showed it to my agent who said it would be impossible to find a publisher to look at anything under twenty-five thousand words, so it languished in my documents file.
I had been hearing stories about Amazon's Kindle. Stories, like in the States, there are ten times more books read on Kindle than in print.
I took part in a Kindle blog and asked the Americans. The results were quite definate, in America Kindle is huge, my times ten figure is on low side.
So I have published the book on Kindle (Fiction - short stories).
It took minutes, even with photographs, so OK, it is among 510,000 other books so I am not holding my breath or ordering the Ferrari, but it is better that it lying in the digital dark.
It is also published on another site where you can sample or buy the book
